A successful pharmaceutical company with a global reach and its own scientific research base for the development of medicinal products for human use is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Global Brand Manager.

The company’s head office is in Prague, where you will co-create the corporate marketing strategy and where the company’s relevant portfolio is designed. You will be a genuine shaper of strategies and their subsequent global implementation.

Global Brand Manager

Your job description:

  • You will propose a global strategy for brands, primarily as a part of the cardiology portfolio and, after approval, you will manage its implementation in territories, with regard to local differences
  • You will shape the marketing strategies for new products, including their launch in new territories
  • You will arrange examinations of marketing plans for existing products
  • You will draft brand manuals and promotional materials for key products
  • You will contribute to the creation of corporate marketing materials for the professional public, KOLs and medical representatives
  • You will draft ongoing marketing analyses of individual markets, you will monitor and assess competitors’ activities in various territories
  • You will create marketing slogans (key statements) and marketing arguments for existing and new products
  • You will obtain information about the specifics of local treatment procedures and approaches
  • You will perform analyses of medical approaches in therapy areas of interest (e.g. medical trends, approved and potential indications, the option of off-label use), you will ascertain gaps and propose suitable supplementations of the portfolio
  • You will co-operate on the management and creation of the company’s cardiology portfolio

Your ideal profile and experience:

  • University education in medicine, pharmacy or related fields
  • MBA an advantage
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Ability to analyse specialist medical literature and clinical studies
  • Ability to define a medical advantage primarily for Rx products
  • At least five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of an international environment an advantage
  • Willingness to work hard and a proactive approach
  • Active knowledge of English a condition
  • Knowledge of other languages—Russian, Spanish or Czech—a big advantage, or the willingness of learn the languages as needed
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30% of the time
