Global Market Access Manager

Job description:

  • Responsible for creating a global market access system
  • Responsible for creating a strategy for existing and newly introduced products to enter the market
  • Monitoring developments in healthcare systems, the activities of competitive companies and development of the demographic and political situation in foreign regions
  • Active collaboration, communication and care of relations with key experts in the field (Key Opinion Leaders, medical companies, patient associations …)
  • Active collaboration with stakeholders
  • Creation of pharmaceutical-economic analyses in compliance with the valid legislation in specific regions, methodological instructions by the relevant authorities, specialist companies and international standards
  • Responsible for creating price strategies for existing and newly introduced products
  • Responsible for creating payment strategies
  • Proposal and creation of materials and submission of requests for payment and their defence
  • Active involvement in preparation of protocols for clinical studies, or pharmaceutical-economic aspects in regard to market access
  • Collaboration on selection of products for the portfolio from the aspect of market access

Our requirements

  • A university education in the field of pharmacy, medicine or a university education in related sectors, such as healthcare, microbiology, bio-chemistry
  • Specialisation in business, an MBA an advantage
  • At least five years experience in the field of market access on the central level of a West European pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of unique products
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of the strategy of the pharmaceutical reference and price systems
  • Active English is essential
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • The ability to identify the needs of, and establish and maintain contact with stakeholders
  • Very good presentation and negotiation skills
  • The willingness to travel, up to 30% of business hours are spent working abroad as necessary
